About Me
I was born and raised in central Pennsylvania. I was probably about 10 years old when I took an interest in photography and genealogy. I realized even at that age the importance a camera has in recording your family history and life events.
I moved to Connecticut in the fall of 2000 and in January of 2001 became a Creative Memories consultant. It was a great way to learn my way around and meet people in my new home state.
What I loved about scrapbooking and making albums was twofold. First, I learned the importance of using quality materials in my album-making. Any product that comes into contact with your pictures should preserve your photos, not harm them with acid, lignin and gaseous plastics. More importantly I learned that album-making is about telling the stories behind the pictures. They say a picture is worth 1000 words. But if you don't take the time to write down the who, what, why, when and where of your pictures then they are worthless to any future generations.
For most of my customers there are two main obstacles to enjoying their photos as they were meant to be. First is that it's a project that seems too overwhelming and time consuming to even get started. Second is that even if they can find the time - they don't know where to start.
So, that's where I come in! I'm here to help you figure out a system that works for you to keep your photographs organized. Then once all of those photos and memorabilia are organized, I can make beautiful albums for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.
